In 2020, in the middle of a world that had stopped, we started brewing. Small batches. Organic ingredients. Traditional fermentation methods. No shortcuts, no artificial anything. Just real kombucha, the way it should be.
From day one, we set up in Sallins, County Kildare — a small town on the Grand Canal with a brewing heritage that stretches back generations. We wanted to prove that a functional drink could be genuinely delicious, genuinely organic, and genuinely Irish.
That belief hasn't changed. Every bottle we brew today starts from the same place: source the best organic ingredients, give fermentation the time it needs, and never cut a corner.
ProKulture Drinks Ltd established in Sallins, Co. Kildare. First batch of organic kombucha brewed. A brand is born.
Our first bottles hit retail shelves. Lock 13 Brewpub becomes the home of ProKulture on draught — kombucha poured fresh from the tap.
